Ms. Helen Ye

Helen is the CEO of Qubit Underwriting, a Hong Kong-based MGA specialised in digital asset insurance. With nearly 20 years of expertise in underwriting and risk management, she is a well-recognized leader in the international (re)insurance industry. Passionate about technology, she has a proven track record of introducing innovative products and services and pioneered the development of digital asset insurance since 2021. 

Helen started her career at AIR Worldwide (now Verisk) in 2005, supporting Bermudian reinsurers. In 2007, she became AIR's Asia Manager, working with leading (re)insurers across the Asia market. After joining Aon Re in 2010 as Managing Director of Greater China, she focused on catastrophe reinsurance and grew the company into China's top reinsurance broker. Helen began her underwriting career in 2018 as the General Manager of Underwriting at Bank of China Group Insurance, and later, Head of SME Underwriting of QBE Asia. 

Helen holds a B.S. from Peking University and a Master's in Public Finance from the University of Chicago.

Ms. Ginny Ngan

Ginny Ngan is a dedicated professional with a background in sales, marketing, product development, and project management. In her role as Vice President at Qubit, a leading underwriter for digital asset insurance in APAC, she specializes in underwriting, where she assesses risk and structures insurance solutions to support the growing digital asset market.

Ginny began her career at Hang Seng Bank in Hong Kong, where she worked on customer acquisition and digital FinTech products, contributing to the design and optimization of customer journeys. Prior to joining Qubit, she served as a Senior Business Development Manager at a virtual insurance company, building and managing customer relationships, as well as driving sales and marketing initiatives to strengthen brand presence in the Web3 space.

Ginny holds a B.A. in Political Economy from the University of California, Berkeley, and an MBA from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. She is passionate about leveraging her skills to make a meaningful impact in the industry.
