Ms Amanda Woo, Vice President – Lead Underwriter, Hong Kong General Casualty and SME Divisions BEng (Electrical), MSc(Finance) Investment Management Amanda has been leading the Hong Kong Casualty team since 2016 and she had taken additional responsibility to drive the Hong Kong SME business portfolio in 2021. She has 8 years of Casualty underwriting experience in the North Asian markets including Japan, Korea, Taiwan and China. Prior to joining Allied World in 2014, Amanda worked at AXA General Insurance HK as an Assistant Underwriting Manager. Before that, she was Assistant Vice President, Market Underwriter at SwissRe HK where she was mainly a treaty underwriter for multiple lines of business including property, casualty, engineering, and marine cargo. She holds a MSc in Investment Management from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology as well as a BEng in Electrical Engineering from the University of Hong Kong.
