Member Register
The purpose of this Register is to enable the public to ascertain if an insurance broker is a member of the Professional Insurance Brokers Association (PIBA). PIBA is an authorized self-regulatory body of insurance brokers authorized by the Office of the Commissioner of Insurance under section 70 of the Insurance Companies Ordinance. The Association is required to maintain the Register which contains information on our members’ registration particular, the identities of their chief executives and technical representatives and their respective authorized lines of business to carry for public inspection. Any use of the personal data in this Register for purposes other than the above-mentioned purposes requires the prior consent given voluntarily by the individuals who are the subjects of the data pursuant to Data Protection Principle 3 in Schedule 1 to the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance.
